This was painted from the front porch of a house on stilts where friends of mine and I stayed in 2004. The village was very kind to me and my friends and the children would bring us little flowers or pieces of fruit. The kids got me and a friend to sing and dance under a full moon to Thai music, which gave them all a good laugh, and helped make up for basically taking over the whole porch the entire time I was there.
