Self Portraits
If you're using a mirror to paint a self portrait, you have to flip the image on the canvas to see it objectively. This means you have to paint the image the reverse of what you're seeing in the mirror. It's a matter of employing a certain kind of dyslexic seeing while you're painting, which is not easy, unless you're a lunatic like me.
