This one was inspired by the possibilities of 'selfies' posted all over the internet. I mostly mean the ones of kids, mainly boys, who show themselves as they really are. The ones I like have an accident of lighting or a skewed angle, qualities that remind me of Warhol or French New Wave films or even old masters. I re-interpret these, change some of the colors, or push the qualities in the photo that catch my interest. I'm combining these with self portraits of myself in various guises at some as yet unnamed and unknown venue.
